Very inspirational..n some life lessons that we can take away when we are learning or teaching music
1) Classical music is for everybody.
2) No one is tone deaf
3) I realized my job was to awaken possibility in people. . . .Who am I being that my players' or children's eyes are not shining? I have a definition of success . . . It's about how many shining eyes I have around me
4) One buttock player
5) Conductor of an orchestra does not make sound. He depends for his power on his ability to make other people powerful...my job is to awaken possibility in other people.
6) I will never say anything that couldn't stand as the last thing I ever say.
